Crustaceans are invertebrates including crabs, lobsters, crayfish and shrimps, among many others that are much less known. They are generally aquatic and can be found in seawater, fresh water and inland brines. They have two pairs of appendages in front of the mouth and paired appendages near the mouth that function as jaws. Lobsters are considered the largest of the crustacean family, while the smallest can fit between grains of sand.
