State & National Parks
The Parks system in our country is splendid. And if you are lucky enough to live in a region that has many local, county and state parks, you are in for a treat all year long. I spend so much time in the parks near my home, and make a point to visit parks when I travel. These areas of nature and wildlife give us a glimpse of what it was like in years past, before over-development took hold and the population exploded. I highly recommend that you take time to visit the parks near you. And if you are not close to any, make a point to travel to ones in your state or neighboring states as a starting point. You won't be disappointed.
